This month it's all about Android. Your GoodBarber Android apps are now optimized for Android 11. And this update has made a lot of noise among Android app developers.

Android apps have historically been distributed as APKs. If you are not familiar with what an .apk file is, know that it is the file that is produced as the result of the development of your app. Android Package Kit (APK) is the file format used to distribute and install apps and make them work on Android devices.
Starting this week, the APK has been replaced by the AAB format.

Our Import/Export add-on already allowed shop owners to easily import /export an unlimited number of products, in one click, from a single .csv file.
The next step for this feature was to be able to add images. And it's now done!
If you're transferring your products from other eCommerce platforms and or have a large catalog, this update give you a quick way to import your product images.

Apple 2021 WWDC is days away!
It will take place from June 7 to June 11, and the 32nd Worldwide Developers Conference is again a digital-only event with no physical gathering due to the ongoing global health crisis.
WWDC 2020 was the first WWDC event to be held digitally, and the 2021 conference will be modeled after the 2020 version.

WWDC 2021 is free for all developers as it's held online. Developers worldwide will be able to attend to discover Apple's new releases, as well as engage with Apple engineers through sessions, one-on-one lab appointments, and the Apple Developer Forums, which were revamped and improved ahead of WWDC 2021.

The App description is where you have the opportunity to tell visitors why they have to download your app. It's your chance to connect with them and highlight your app benefit. It must be writing carefully. However, on the App Store, the description is not a ranking factor. So for your ASO, you need to pay close attention to the keywords and where to use them (keyword field, App name, App subtitle)

As a reminder, the ranking factors on the App Store are the app name, the subtitle, the keyword field, and then the ratings, reviews, updates, downloads, and engagement.
